Research Programme

The institution has embarked on Research programmes on Asthama and infertility and great progress has been achieved in these fields.  The study on the use of pooga syrup and pooga trim is undertaken by the teaching staff.  Recently, the following two research programmes have been undertaken by the Institution. 

The both research programmes were sponsored by the Department of Science and technology, Government of India. A well equipped animal house has been provided to carry out research activities in the institutional level.

S.D.M. College of Ayurveda and Hospital have evolved as a model to other Ayurvedic institutions and has gained recognition as a “College of Excellence”.

Scholarships

Deserving students are eligible for award of the following Scholarships, provided they fulfill the conditions enjoined thereon.

1. National Loan Scholarships.
2. National Merit Scholarships
3. Scholarship to the dependants of Service Personnel.
