Achievements

• The first college to offering under graduation and post graduation in yoga and naturopathy in the country.
• 500 bedded yoga and naturopathy hospital with OPD under our management
• our college graduate are working as a research scholars, lectures, assistant professors,  professors, medical officers and cultural ambassadors in government as well as private originations in India and abroad. 
• First public private partnership to naturopathy & yoga in the country with state and central government.

Public Private Partnership (PPP)
In collaboration with the Government of Karnataka and Government of India the institute has opened 10 out patient units (OPD) in the existing Taluka Government Hospitals of 10 Districts of Karnataka to cater Naturopathy and Yoga treatments to the low socioeconomic strata of the society.

Extracurricular Achievements :

Sports and Yoga events conducted by our college:

• Our College Conducted RGUHS yoga competitions in 2004, 2005 and 2009

• Shuttle Badminton Tournament:

Our college RGUHS Mysore Zonal Shuttle Badminton Tournament on 27th and 28th October at Indraprastha Indoor Stadium, SDM College Ujire.

• State level Yogasana Competition:

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Single Zone state level Yogasana Competition 2009 held on 6th and 7th November 2009 was organized by our college.

 

STAFF POSITIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:

• The Governor appointed our Principal as member of advisory committee for Naturopathy and Yoga for three years for the Department of Health and Family welfare, Government of Karnataka.
• RGUHS appointed our  Principal as member for Board of Post Graduation Studies in Ayurveda for the year 2009-10.
• Principal appointed as Academic Council Member for RGUHS.
• RGUHS appointed Dr. Rudrappa as member of Graduate Board of Studies.
• Principal Dr. Prashanth Shetty visited Bahrain on 15th December 2009. He was felicitated by Bunts Association of Bahrain for his contribution to Naturopathy.
