The college offers regular medical checkup for all the students. Besides this, there are clinics in each hostel with necessary medicines. Both male and female doctors visit these clinics on regular basis and take care of the students' health related concerns.

The college offers separate hostel facilities for boy and girls on a twin sharing basis. Internet facility, hot water, provision for of PCs and board games are also provided.

SDM Institute of Technology has an all inclusive campus. Since students have all these facilities at their disposal they hardly need to go out for the basic needs. Parents can easily transfer money to their wards' account and they can withdraw the amount using the ATM card.

Co-operative Store and Canteen

Co-operative Store is almost a full fledged shop catering the needs of both boys and girls supplying materials for educational and general purpose. In addition to this, the college will add a canteen with south and north Indian foods. It will be a pure vegetarian canteen with high emphasis on hygiene.

Buses ply between the college and adjacent places to transport students to and fro. This ensures hassle-free commuting for the students.
