The two-year residential PGDM programme, approved by the AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, with an intake of 180, is among the finest PGDM courses offered in the country. The course curriculum has been drawn up based on the changing needs of the industry and developments in the academic sector. A wide knowledge base and rich teaching experience matched by facilities of international standards makes this course truly valuable. Students are driven from within to think and behave as leaders. In their second year of the programme, students reserve the option to sepcialise in up to two disciplines from Marketing, Finance, Systems, HRM and Operations. In an attempt to sensitize them on International culture, and learning styles, an oversea study tour has been made compulsory form the current year.

The admission process is rigorous and only students with exceptional aptitude and potential are given the opportunity to explore the possibility of enrolling at SDMIMD. Applicants should appear for the CAT / XAT / GMAT exams and have at least a three-year Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any college recognized by the University Grants Commission /All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
