A Bold Step towards Empowerment of women
MMK and SDM Women’s College Mysore

Mysore Makkala Kota started an educational institution in the year 1990, with the motive of women empowerment. But, very soon, the organization faced certain difficulties and decided to handover the institution to Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Education Society, in the year 1992. The institution was shifted to a new rented building Manimandira, and the new management introduced pre- university course in Science along with the existing B.Sc courses. The college is nestled in the heart of the city and is the cynosure of every one in and around Mysore.
Our college has been rendering services in the field of education, health, management and other areas and here are some of the innovative healthily practices taken of by our institution.

Our college is free from the menace of ragging and students cultivate healthy habits of prayer, cooperation, etc.,   

Our auspicious symbol being Godess Saraswathi plying on veena is quite impressive and expressing. This symbol  inspires the students to learn and motivates them to inculcate the spiritual values which enriches our heritage
